Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor and childbirth.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and vital signs, intervening promptly as necessary.
• Administer medications including oxytocin, IV fluids, and epidurals.
• Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
• Support breastfeeding and postpartum care to new mothers.
• Document patient care in the Epic charting system accurately.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state of California.
• Minimum 1 year of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Certifications in BLS and NRP are required; ACLS and AWHONN preferred.
• Experience in using Epic for charting and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to float between related units and accommodate flexible scheduling.
