Job Summary

Neulife Rehabilitation of Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to provide therapeutic services to clients receiving behavioral health treatment. This role focuses exclusively on direct client care and does not include supervisory duties . The ideal candidate is client-focused, ethical, and passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health and overall quality of life.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions in accordance with treatment plans

• Conduct psychosocial assessments, screenings, and clinical documentation

• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical records

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team members

• Support clients in developing coping strategies and recovery skills

• Adhere to all ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and state regulations

• Participate in required meetings and trainings

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field

• Active or eligible Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Registered Intern)

• Experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment preferred

• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
