Benefits 401(k) Company Match (up to 3%) and annual BECU contribution of 4% Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (family contributions included) PTO and Exchange Program Tuition Reimbursement Program BECU Cares volunteer time off + donation match Key Impact As a Member Consultant II, you will deliver a seamless and high‑quality member experience, using your expertise in BECU’s products to identify, diagnose, and address members’ financial needs and refer them to specialized services when necessary. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service and sales expertise across business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and Fiduciary accounts. Sign all line and loan documents for inbound/outbound calls, ensuring each member’s needs are met. Assist the community with financial wellness through education, budgeting, debt management, and access to financial planning resources. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related experience. Minimum two years of sales‑oriented, financial, or retail experience. One year of experience in a financial institution (Spanish language fluency highly desirable). Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently. Proficient with learning new systems and programs; able to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Ability to complete a 12‑week in‑house training program after hire. Comprehensive knowledge of credit union key objectives, product and service solutions, and relevant state and federal regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication, problem‑resolution, negotiation, organization, and multi‑tasking skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including up to three Saturdays per month. Training & Schedule 12‑week training at the Tukwila Financial Center; flexible shifts (8:00AM–6:30PM, Monday–Friday; up to 3 Saturdays/month). Pod & Rotation Role is part of a pod within BECU’s Central District (Burien, West Seattle, Columbia City, White Center).
