Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Oncology/Women's Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including occasional pelvic exams, echo, and thoracentesis
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, CNAs, and HUCs across day shift operations
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other med-surg units as needed (infrequent)
• Work required weekend days per schedule (6 weekend days per schedule period)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with standard unit equipment
• Ability to adhere to unit dress code: navy, white, or a combination of both colors

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Chemotherapy (Chemo) Certification
• Previous oncology nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner EMR
