Batch Maker

Description: Batchmaker is responsible for Production of all batched items for use in filling operations Picking, adding and blending raw materials, verifying quality and tracking inventory. Will cleaning and maintain tanks and tank area. Duties and Responsibilities: Obtaining a batch sheet from laboratory supervisor Weighing items Bringing sample of completed batch to laboratory for testing and approval Adjusting batch as dictated by laboratory Obtaining and applying tank ticket after laboratory approval Labeling and filling of tote/drum/pail quantity products Changing line and raw material filters Operating and maintaining sodium hypochlorite reclaim system Immediately reporting any safety/maintenance/equipment issues to the quality manager Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively both written orally in English Strong attention to detail Knowledge of 5S Practices Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours a day Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and pour 50 lbs. containers of materials regularly Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, non-disqualifying physical or mental disability, national origin, veteran status, or any other basis covered by appropriate law.
