Work Schedule: PRN

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 / Hour depending on experiences and qualifications

JOB SUMMARY:

In this vital role, you’ll ensure safe and accurate medication administration while providing compassionate support to our residents. You’ll follow established protocols, maintain thorough documentation, and promote resident independence; all while demonstrating respect, patience, integrity, and a commitment to quality care.

JOB DUTIES:

• Follows all policies and procedures for medication administration, medication ordering, and delivery

• Immediately reports med errors, or missing medications

• Provides quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan

• Promotes resident independence in accordance with service plan

• Compliant with all infection control guidelines

• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts

• Documents medication administration in EHR (electronic health record) per policy

• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

• Highschool graduate - Associate degree – preferred

• Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant license

• Must have current Medication Technician Certification

• Must maintain current Certification during employment

• One (1) year experience in senior services facility – preferred
