These responsibilities include shaping metal, maintaining press brake, reading blueprints, completing inspections, packaging, lifting, and moving of parts & inventory, using a forklift, and following safety regulations.Responsibilities:Safety: Ensure safe working conditions are being maintained in your area. Participate in implementation of safety projects when asked. Minimizes hazardous wastes from processes, continually seeking alternatives.Quality: Adhere to product verification systems in place throughout build process. Understands preventative and corrective actions and adheres to them.Teammate: Promote teamwork, communicate effectively, and provide feedback on progress to your Team Leader. Adhere to company policy and ensure procedures in place are followed.Technical: Troubleshooting and problem solving to resolve any equipment or technical issues. Adhere to technical and quality standards put in place by Team Leader.RequirementsEducation and Training:High School DiplomaKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Press brake experience is requiredUnderstanding of how to read blueprintsComputer skillsKnowledge of manufacturing basicsAbility to follow directionFlexible and can quickly adjust to changeBasic use of inspection tooling (tape measures, calipers, etc)Good math skillsKnowledge of different types of materialTravel Requirements:MinimalPhysical Requirements:Be able to lift at least 25 lbs. and up to 75 lbs. throughout the daySit, stand, and bend throughout the workdaySafety-Sensitive Position: Brake Press Operator role is considered a safety-sensitive position.
