Purpose of the role To enable data‑driven strategic and operational decision‑making through extracting actionable insights from large datasets, performing statistical and advanced analytics to uncover trends and patterns, and presenting findings through clear visualisations and reports. Accountabilities Investigate and analyze data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification; document data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with recommendations for improvement. Design and build data pipelines to automate data movement and processing. Apply advanced analytical techniques to large datasets to uncover trends and correlations; develop validated logical data models. Translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations that drive operational and process improvements, leveraging machine learning/AI. Design and create interactive dashboards and visual reports using applicable tools and automate reporting processes for regular and ad‑hoc stakeholder needs. Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions. Lead a team performing complex tasks; set objectives, coach employees, appraise performance, and determine reward outcomes. Facilitate delivery of high‑quality data insights using business intelligence utilities and analytics capabilities. Support implementation of Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations data strategy. Undertake data analysis to support performance and improvement, providing oversight to operational teams, senior leadership, service buyers, auditors, and regulators. Build and utilize reporting in SQL, Python, Alteryx, and Tableau, leveraging existing data‑warehousing solutions and establishing new data sources. Produce and maintain clear, articulate, and insightful reporting for internal and external stakeholders. Track, manage, and govern proactive and reactive data validations for all Critical Data Elements across Conduct Risk, Wholesale Customer Data, and Identity Service. Complete data dictionary and data lineage work in support of data strategy for Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations. Act as product owner for hierarchy data and definition, supporting data lineage and data quality. Establish and maintain interdependent working relationships with operational teams and senior leadership across Wholesale Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operation. Interface with multiple functions across the Bank, including Technology, Finance, Operations, Compliance, and Risk. May telecommute. [Hybrid role] Salary & Benefits Base salary range: $169,541 – $186,495 per year. Position eligible for an incentive award.
