Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician program
• Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT)
• Proven experience supporting operating room procedures in a hospital or clinical setting
• Comprehensive understanding of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive within a fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Assist surgical team members during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile fields
• Monitor and maintain aseptic technique throughout all surgical interventions
• Ensure accurate counts of instruments, sponges, and other materials before, during, and after procedures
• Assist with specimen collection, labeling, and transportation to designated areas
• Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after surgery
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers for efficient surgical workflows
