As an Accounting Specialist, you'll join a high-performing accounting team supporting lease administration, financial reporting, reconciliations, and landlord relationships. The Accounting Specialist will gain exposure to specialized areas of accounting while developing skills that can lead to future opportunities in property accounting, financial reporting, and corporate accounting. This opportunity is ideal for an Accounting Specialist who enjoys analytical work, problem-solving, and working with both financial data and contractual documents in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Specialist Process monthly landlord payments and ensure lease obligations are paid accurately and on time as the Accounting Specialist Review and reconcile Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges, research discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions as the Accounting Specialist. Communicate with landlords and internal departments regarding payments, lease terms, account balances, and related inquiries as the Accounting Specialist. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end adjustments to support accurate financial reporting. Identify cost-saving opportunities, maintain lease documentation, and assist with special projects as the Accounting Specialist.
