Key Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Experience as a School Nurse or in a comparable setting preferred
• Up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications

• Professional, organized, and able to handle confidential student information with discretion

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including management of chronic conditions and administration of medication/treatments as prescribed
• Assess, triage, and address student injuries or illnesses during school hours
• Develop, implement, and monitor healthcare plans for students with medical needs
• Serve as a health resource for staff, students, and parents, offering education on wellness and disease prevention
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to support overall student well-being
• Maintain accurate records, health logs, and documentation in compliance with policies and regulations
• Participate in school health screenings and immunization tracking
