Field Engineer

Areas of Responsibility:

• Assist project team as directed (e.g. verifying field work for superintendents and logging contract documents (e.g. RFIs, submittals, as-built documents or current drawings, change orders, warrantees, etc.) for project engineers.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must be able and willing to communicate effectively to the project team and also with subcontractors and vendors.
• Issue subs and vendors updated contract documents.
• Supporting project staff in tracking punchlist items and project closeout.
• Task oriented position, requiring ability to meet deadlines and multi-task while being detail oriented and organized.
• Prior construction experience and familiarity with construction terminology is useful.
• Prior ability to read drawings and specifications is helpful.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor degree is required. Degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is preferred.

Minimum Experience Required:

• 0 - 2 years

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• MS Word and Excel are required.
• MS Project and AutoCAD are recommended.
• Bluebeam and Procore are recommended.
