Pharmacist - Part-time

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled pharmacist to join our compounding pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for working in the pharmaceutical industry and a strong commitment to patient care. In this role, you will be responsible for sharing your expertise with healthcare providers and patients, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. This position is part-time, working afternoon/evenings and weekends. University Pharmacy is a locally owned and operated community pharmacy since 1954. Responsibilities Dispense medications according to prescriptions in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with healthcare providers to design and optimize personalized treatment plans for patients Stay current with industry trends, advancements in compounding techniques, and regulatory changes Provide exceptional customer service, answering patient questions and educating them on the use of their medications Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations Qualifications Licensed pharmacist in Utah with a valid and active license Experience in pharmaceutical compounding is preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of pharmacy techniques, regulations, and quality assurance practices Excellent communication skills and patient-focused attitude Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Additional Information Benefits: Competitive salary Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and collaborative work environment Located a few minutes walking distance from the Stadium TRAX station If you are passionate and dedicated to providing personalized patient care, we would love to hear from you!
