The General Assembly Associate assembles industrial doors and components in a manufacturing environment. This position requires experience using hand and power tools, reading a tape measure accurately, following work instructions, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.

General Assembly Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $17.00 to $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)

• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure, including fractions
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Manufacturing or assembly experience
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
• Assemble industrial doors and components according to specifications and work orders
• Measure, cut, drill, fasten, and align materials during production
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
• Load, unload, and prepare materials and finished products as needed

General Assembly Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Stand and walk for most of the shift Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance as needed
• Perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
• Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist regularly
• Work in a non-climate-controlled environment ranging from approximately 50°F to 110°F

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
