The General Assembly Associate assembles industrial doors and components in a manufacturing environment. This position requires experience using hand and power tools, reading a tape measure accurately, following work instructions, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced production setting.

General Assembly Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $17.00 to $18.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:30pm)
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure, including fractions
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Manufacturing or assembly experience
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Assemble industrial doors and components according to specifications and work orders
- Measure, cut, drill, fasten, and align materials during production
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
- Load, unload, and prepare materials and finished products as needed
General Assembly Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Stand and walk for most of the shift Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with assistance as needed
- Perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
- Bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist regularly
- Work in a non-climate-controlled environment ranging from approximately 50°F to 110°F
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
