Job Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft tailored treatment strategies that encompass both immediate and long-term goals for communication, cognition, or swallowing needs. Deliver individualized speech therapy interventions that focus on enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions. Collaborate seamlessly with a team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to design cohesive care plans. Provide education to patients and families, empowering them to support therapy progress outside of clinical settings. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions, ensuring a holistic and continuous care experience. Keep meticulous records in accordance with state, federal, and organizational policies. Engage in lifelong learning through continual education and collaboration with fellow professionals. Education & Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
