Accounting Coordinator

Job Location: Watertown 121 Airport Drive Watertown, SD 57201, USA We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting team member. This role is ideal for a hands‑on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to apply advanced accounting knowledge without direct management responsibilities. This person will play a key role in financial reporting, general ledger activities, and process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Prepare and review financial statements Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and adjustments Support month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely completion Maintain compliance accounting policies Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls Support optimization of financial systems and tools Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS and financial reporting principles Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with ERP systems (Epicor a strong plus) Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Payroll experience a plus Knowledge of Canadian Accounting Principles a plus We offer a full benefit package that includes Basic Life, Vision, and Short and Long Term Disability provided by the Company at no cost to you.
