You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed.Global Private Wealth - Americas (“GPW”) is part of the Investor Relations Team that is responsible for the fundraising activities of the Firm. GPW focuses on delivering HarbourVest’s private markets solutions to the private wealth market primarily through financial intermediaries including wire-houses, regional broker-dealers, private banks, multi-family offices and registered investment advisors.GPW is responsible for the distribution of HarbourVest products in the private wealth channel in the US, Canada and Latin America.This role will be focused on partnering with External Wholesalers to raise capital in the US – by creating and maintaining relationships with financial advisors in the Wire-House/Private Bank, RIA, and Family Office channels in the specified region to drive sales and AUM growth across private and registered fundsThe ideal candidate is someone who is:Teammate that can collaborate across sales, product, and other functional areas of the firmSelf-starter and demonstrate a passion for salesWhat you will do:Provide support to External Wholesalers covering a specific geographical regionAct as a liaison between External Wholesalers and financial advisorsWill be point of contact with financial advisors to increase sales and deepen existing relationshipsLead business meeting follow-up activities with prospective and existing advisors, and ensure maintenance of meeting/call notes in CRMUnderstand complex alternative investment capabilities across private and registered investment vehicles and effectively communicate them to prospective clients in a clear and articulate manner, both verbally and in writingMaintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape across strategies, private and registered investment structures, and relevant private wealth platformsCommunicate effectively with other team members and leaders to ensure a high degree of transparency and collaborationRepresent the firm with a strong presence that instills trust and confidenceAnd other responsibilities as requiredWhat you bring:Series 7, Series 63 RequiredMust meet required outbound call/contact activity levels as set by ManagerStrong MS Word, Excel, and CRM management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong Capital Markets KnowledgeProficient in managing and prioritizing tasks; adept at handling a demanding calendar of client meetingsAbility to travelEducation PreferredBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceExperience3-6 Years of related industry experience preferred#LI-HybridBase Salary Range:$120,000.00 - $130,000.00This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus eligibility, total compensation may include participation in long-term reward programs (typically for more senior-level roles). We also offer a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement contributions, health insurance, income protection, paid time off and leave benefits as well as well-being programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography.
