Supply Chain Data Analyst

Position Summary: The role is a key member of Central Planning Organization and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the 0-18 month supply plan for the region’s manufacturing sites. This position will collaborate closely with the production facilities, distribution centers, demand planning, procurement, and customer service to ensure an uninterrupted, cost-effective, and service-focus supply of product. The role requires strong analytical, cross functional, and leadership skills to drive supply visibility, alignment of capacity to forecast, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.Job DescriptionAccountabilities:Capacity ManagementPerform finite and rough-cut capacity planning to identify constraints and develop mitigation plansCoordinate planned down days / maintenance windows with site scheduling teams to ensure resource availabilityTrack and report master schedule attainment; analyze variances and drive corrective actionsMRP Ownership & Supply Plan Integrity Ensure all MRP elements: planned orders, purchase requisitions, inventory projections, and capacity signals are accurate, synchronized, and aligned with demandReview MRP message as necessary with production facilities, execute appropriate actions to prevent shortages, expedite supply, or avoid excess inventoryMonitor material master data and own planning-related fields, including safety stock levels, lead times, lot sizes, replenishment methods, and other planning familyMaintain system configurations, time fences, and replenishment strategies in accordance with global processes and policiesSupply and Demand Balance & Scenario AnalysisBalance supply with demand at SKU and site levels while adhering to production constraints, inventory targets, and customer service requirementsIdentify risks and opportunities in the supply plan, proposing alternatives such as overtime, inventory reallocation, line prioritization, or schedule adjustmentsProvide supply input and data packages for S&OP and S&OE meetings, including risk summaries, capacity outlook, and long-term supply signalsProcess Improvement & AnalyticsRun, analyze, and act on stock-low/stock-high reports; initiate replenishment or demand shaping actions as neededLead or support cross-functional root cause analysis for service failures, driving corrective and preventive actions to completionCommunicate production plan changes, constraints, and priorities to internal stakeholdersIdentify opportunities for process enhancements using analytics, planning tools, and technology (Power BI)Establish and track KPIs to measure S&OP effectiveness and drive data-based decisionsManage Planning Systems (Slimstock)Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in supply planning, inventory analysis, and data interpretationExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levelsProject management experience leading cross functional initiativesDeep understanding of supply chain processes, including demand planning, MRP, DRP, warehouse operations, and distributionDemonstrated leadership skills to influence teams and drive operational alignmentRequired Minimum Number of Years of Relevant Experience:Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Supply Chain Management, Production scheduling, S&OP, or a related disciplineEducation, Experience and Training:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field - Master’s degree is a plusProven experience in S&OP executionCPIM, CSCP, or equivalent professional certification is a plusExperience with advanced planning tools (APS) and modern ERP systems (JDE is a plus)Prior experience in a global, multi-site manufacturing environmentDemonstrated capability in continuous improvement, process optimization, or Lean/Six Sigma methodologiesMisc.Travel requirements of 5-10%
