This role requires flexibility, including varied shifts, shift times between 6 am and 10 pm, and weekend availability.Position Information:Pay: $18.85 per hour Schedule: This role requires flexibility, including varied shifts, and weekend availability. Status: Part TimeWhy You'll Love Working Here:Complimentary stays at HI USA hostels (based on availability)Access to discounts on a wide range of brandsHands-on training and developmentOpportunities to grow within HI USASupportive and inclusive team environmentWhat You'll Do:Prepare guest rooms, dormitories, and shared spaces to meet cleanliness standardsClean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and showersSweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout the hostelComplete laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and restocking linensReplace bed linens, towels, and other items as neededMaintain kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes and utensilsDust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces in common areas and guest roomsRemove trash and recycling dailyReport maintenance or repair needs to managementHelp monitor and restock housekeeping suppliesSupport light maintenance or grounds tasks as neededWhat We're Looking For:Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or hostel setting preferred (6+ months)Ability to work both independently and collaborativelyStrong attention to detail and time management skillsCustomer service experience is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalentAvailability to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical Requirements:This role requires regular standing, walking, and use of hands and arms. Occasional climbing or balancing may be required. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is necessary.
