Thermo Sensors Corporation is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth and expand market presence throughout Southeast Texas. This individual will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, strengthening relationships with existing customers, and promoting Thermo Sensors’ industry-leading temperature measurement solutions across refining, petrochemical, chemical, power generation, industrial manufacturing, and OEM markets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record providing temperature measurement products across multiple industries along with strong relationship management skills. Key DutiesBusiness Development Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Southeast Texas market. Expand Thermo Sensors’ presence with end users, EPC firms, OEMs, and contractors. Build relationships with key decision-makers across engineering, maintenance, reliability, operations, instrumentation, and procurement organizations. Conduct regular customer visits, plant walkthroughs, technical presentations, and product demonstrations. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve territory growth objectives. Account Management Grow and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Serve as a trusted advisor and resource for temperature measurement applications. Coordinate with inside sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding product adoption. Sales Execution Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals. Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate forecasting. Follow up on quotations, proposals, and project opportunities in a timely manner. Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitive developments. Technical Sales Support Assist customers in selecting the appropriate products and solutions for their applications. Promote Thermo Sensors’ portfolio of thermocouples, RTDs, thermowells, multipoint thermocouples, tube skin thermocouples, and custom temperature sensor assemblies. Collaborate with engineering teams on customer-specific solutions and specifications. QualificationsRequired Minimum of 3 years of industrial outside sales experience Proven ability to develop new business and manage existing customer relationships. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Southeast Texas. Preferred Experience selling industrial instrumentation, sensors, process controls, automation products, or related technologies. Familiarity with refinery, petrochemical, chemical processing, LNG, energy, or industrial manufacturing markets. Existing relationships within the Beaumont, Port Arthur, Orange, or surrounding Southeast Texas industrial community.
