Automotive General Sales Manager

This role demands strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all sales activities, developing strategies to increase revenue, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards. Responsibilities Manage and motivate the sales team to achieve or exceed sales targets. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing activities. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure optimal stock levels. Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly. Prepare regular sales performance reports and forecast future sales trends. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all relevant laws and regulations. Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Requirements Proven experience as a General Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role within the automotive industry. Strong knowledge of automotive sales, inventory management, and dealership operations. Exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to analyze sales metrics and develop actionable strategies. Proficiency with dealership management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
