Implementation & Equipment Monitoring: Execute the patient care plan while managing, monitoring, and maintaining all specialized respiratory equipment and advanced care modalities. Monitoring & Communication: Continuously monitor, record, and communicate changes in patient condition, treatments, and medication administration based on clinical outcomes. Emergency Response: Serve as an active member of the emergency resuscitation team, responding promptly to all code situations. Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families about their respiratory health conditions, while providing resources for community support groups and external programs. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Texas Respiratory Care Practitioners Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Care Practitioner provisional/temporary license will be accepted until license is issued. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
