1st Shift Production Supervisor

Lead And Inspire In Manufacturing

Our client seeks a proactive leader to oversee 1st shift operations in their manufacturing environment. This role ensures the precise and safe production and delivery of building components, adhering to high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion safety by promoting safe operations and maintaining constant awareness of safety requirements.
• Directly supervise hourly production employees, manage work assignments, and provide on-the-job training to ensure high-quality output.
• Implement lean manufacturing methods to drive cost-effective production, monitor budgets, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with local management and other supervisors to foster a team-focused environment and support organizational objectives.
• Participate in talent management by assessing and selecting production personnel and developing employees through cross-training.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA General Industry, EEOC, and DOT regulations.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and coaching abilities.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proven track record in process improvement and achieving results.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
