REGISTERED NURSE RN- OPERATING ROOM

Description Job Summary: Responsible for delivering peri‑operative care by using the nursing process to perform rapid assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care to the surgical patient. The Registered Nurse will support patients and families' physical and emotional health while providing excellent customer service, communication skills, flexibility, quality improvement activities and professional growth. Education: Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program Bachelor Degree in Nursing Bachelors or better in Nursing (Preferred) Registration/Certification/Licensure: Current PA RN license Healthcare Provider CPR Act 33/73 clearances Experience: Minimum – clinical rotation through educational program. Preferred – one year operating room experience or open heart experience, prior scrub experience, case set up, and ability to assist physician while maintaining aseptic technique.
