Position Summary We are seeking a Research Specialist to study the effect of alcohol abuse on central and peripheral inflammation. Research Specialist will perform experiments for alcohol inflammation research projects. Work may include bioinformatics, maintaining mice colonies, alcohol administration, animal sacrificing and perfusions, tissue harvesting, tissue processing, western blotting, RT- PCR , Immunohistochemistry and ELISAs. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Management Preferences Prior experience with alcohol research Special Physical/Mental Requirements Not Applicable.
