About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President & Chief Operating Officer (VP & COO) to play a pivotal role in the organization's strategic and operational leadership. The successful candidate will be a key partner to the President & CEO, overseeing the long-term strategy implementation, impact, culture, and financial performance. This executive will be responsible for setting a multi-year operational framework, leading the implementation of strategies and systems to enhance organizational performance, and ensuring that the company's infrastructure supports innovation and efficiency. The VP & COO will also be involved in financial leadership, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing sustainable business models, and will lead the People & Culture and Data, Product & IT teams to advance the company's mission. Applicants for the VP & COO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of senior executive-level operational and financial management experience, with a strong preference for those with a background in complex, high-growth, mission-driven organizations. The role requires a candidate with a passion for the company's mission, a proven track record in executive leadership, and the ability to lead change management efforts. Strong strategic and operational leadership skills, exceptional communication, and a coaching-oriented style that fosters inclusivity and belonging are essential. The ideal candidate will have a systems-oriented mindset, strong financial acumen, and experience in organizational risk management.
