Equipment Engineer

Equipment Engineer Department: Oracle L10/L11 Employment Type: Full Time Location: 868 Description FII USA, Inc , a Foxconn Technology Group Company, is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will support a wide variety of technical and operational tasks within the Production Department in a manufacturing environment. This position offers the opportunity to apply critical thinking skills, support advanced manufacturing processes, and grow your career in Smart Manufacturing. Responsibilities Maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime Assist internal and external users with equipment training, tool usage, and safe operation Train staff on safety procedures and cleanroom protocols Develop, write, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) Train users on microfabrication and characterization equipment Perform equipment installation, maintenance, and repair Provide safety oversight and operational support Support microfabrication activities for funded projects Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience with solid modeling, AutoCAD, and engineering materials/properties 3+ years of experience in an SMT manufacturing environment preferred 3+ years of experience in an electronic assembly environment preferred Working knowledge of ECR/ECN engineering processes Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization Reasons you should work for us: Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
