We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient for a 13-week contract in Alturas, California. The Physical Therapist will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and coordinate physical therapy services to support optimal functional outcomes.

The role also involves supporting department operations, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and reassessments and develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and treatment goals.

• Provide appropriate physical therapy interventions and monitor patient response, functional progress, pain levels, and treatment effectiveness.

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, rehabilitation goals, safety, and strategies to support continued functional improvement.

• Coordinate patient care with physicians, rehabilitation staff, and other healthcare professionals while maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

• Support department operations, quality improvement activities, equipment safety, regulatory compliance, and effective delivery of physical therapy services.

• Minimum 3 Years of Physical Therapist Experience Required.

• Current, Active California Physical Therapist License Required.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Knowledge of Physical Therapy Modalities, Anatomy, Physiology, Rehabilitation Principles, Infection Control, and Patient Safety Required.

• Strong Clinical Judgment, Organizational, Communication, Interpersonal, and Collaborative Skills Required.
