divh2Credit Analyst/h2pPosition: Credit Analyst/ppLocation: Newark NJ/ppDuration: 2 Years/ppKey Duties/pulliImplement corporate credit policy and procedures and perform credit reviews for solar loan program commercial applicants./liliEvaluate credit proposals and applications, conduct due diligence and make written credit recommendations to management./liliEstablish and maintain contact with clients throughout the due diligence process to obtain/provide information and advice, conduct interviews and relay information regarding the process and organizations requirements/liliReview and analyze financial statements, credit ratings, financial models, both for existing clients and on new solar financing opportunities/liliIdentify structural risks and mitigates in prospective transactions and recommend enhancements and structuring of deals and covenants in line with policies and procedures./liliAssist in documenting new financing transactions./liliResponsible for monitoring of borrowers financial condition to determine collateral requirements as required by the loan agreement./liliRecommend enhancements to credit procedures in line with Board of Public Utilities approved Board Order./liliAssist in the identification and analysis of potential business transactions and assist in the preparation of presentations/pitches/liliEnsure compliance with program policies and procedures and SOX controls./liliMaintain and apply working knowledge of organization Standards for Business Controls and meet managements expectations for effective internal business controls./liliProvide support for special projects and other functions as requested./li/ulpEssential Qualifications:/pulliBachelor Degree in business or finance or equivalent experience/liliMinimum 3 years financial analysis and/or credit experience/liliProject finance experience/knowledge/liliStrong technical, computational and quantitative skills/liliAbility to make decisions and proactively resolve borrower issues./liliUnderstanding of financial statements, corporate finance theories and practices, credit and risk principles, accounting, economics and statistics as well as strong research skills./liliExcellent analytical ability including demonstrated knowledge of valuation techniques and practices, including cash flow analysis/liliAbility to build, review and maintain complex cash flow forecasting models with an excellent understanding of lending financial concepts and ratios/liliExcellent interpersonal, presentation, oral and written communication skills and an ability to explain complicated financial concepts to all levels, including clients and senior management/liliComfortable interacting with and managing relationships with clients senior management during loan due diligence and portfolio monitoring./liliDemonstrated job commitment including a willingness to work under deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced, results-driven environment with flexibility and adaptability in order to meet client requirements/liliProven ability to pay close attention to detail, multi-task and work collaboratively within a team under tight deadlines/liliWell-developed organizational and time management skills in order to respond to shifting priorities on several simultaneous projects/liliProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint./liliCandidate must foster an inclusive work environment and respect all aspects of diversity/li/ulpDesired Qualifications:/pulliPrevious US power and renewables experience/liliC.P.A., C.F.A, MBA or other related Masters degree/liliPrior investment/corporate banking work experience/lili3 years + of Project Finance experience/knowledge./liliUnderstanding of New Jerseys solar energy market and familiarity with local utility solar financing programs./li/ulpAdditional Information/ppAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines./p/div
