Process Quality Engineer

Process Quality EngineerOxford Solutions is working with a client seeking a Process Quality Engineer to support manufacturing process development, quality planning, and production readiness. This direct-hire, onsite role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working hands-on with manufacturing teams and improving both process capability and product quality.ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes.Provide hands-on manufacturing and quality engineering support from product development through high-volume production.Participate in APQP activities and support manufacturing readiness assessments.Develop and maintain control plans and inspection plans.Support PPAP, FAIR, FMEA, and PFMEA activities.Evaluate manufacturing processes to identify quality, efficiency, and reliability improvements.Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve production and process issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action efforts.Assist with dimensional inspection and measurement activities as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering highly preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.Minimum 3 years of manufacturing, process engineering, or quality engineering experience for candidates with a bachelor's degree.Experience with APQP, control plans, PPAP, FAIR, FMEA/PFMEA, or related quality planning processes.Understanding of manufacturing process development and production quality requirements.Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification or practical experience preferred.CMM programming or operating experience preferred.Basic knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection methods preferred.Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
