What you bring:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Connecticut (or eligibility)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in school settings
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Excellent communication skills for engaging students, families, and staff
• Flexibility and creativity in adapting curriculum and instructional strategies
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) for your caseload
• Provide direct instruction, interventions, and accommodations to meet student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and families
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting teaching as needed
• Maintain timely and accurate records and reports
• Participate actively in meetings, trainings, and professional development
