Associate Director, Medical Analytics and Exploratory Data Science

Revolution Medicines seeks an Associate Director of Biostatistics to lead statistical design and analysis for exploratory data studies, real-world evidence projects, and health economics research in oncology. The role requires partnering across clinical, regulatory, and commercial functions to generate evidence supporting RAS-targeted cancer therapies.

Responsibilities

• Lead statistical design, analysis, and interpretation of exploratory analyses and real-world evidence studies
• Partner with clinical development, medical affairs, safety, and commercial teams on evidence generation plans
• Apply advanced statistical methodologies to address oncology research questions
• Contribute to analysis plans, technical specifications, and result interpretation
• Oversee statistical deliverables from internal programmers and external vendors for quality assurance

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics with 5+ years pharma/biotech experience, or M.S. with 8+ years
• Strong knowledge of oncology statistical methods including survival analysis and causal inference
• Hands-on experience analyzing exploratory oncology trial data
• Ability to execute moderately complex statistical analyses independently with senior guidance
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for biostatistics and clinical trials
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively
