Director, Medical Analytics and Exploratory Data Science

Revolution Medicines seeks a Director of Biostatistics to lead statistical strategy for exploratory analyses, real-world evidence studies, and health economics research in oncology. This role combines hands-on statistical work with cross-functional leadership to support the company's RAS-targeted cancer pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical leadership for exploratory analyses, real-world data studies, and HEOR projects
• Serve as primary statistical contact for cross-functional oncology projects
• Design and interpret complex statistical models including survival analysis and machine learning approaches
• Mentor junior statisticians and establish statistical quality standards and procedures
• Manage external CRO relationships and communicate statistical findings to regulatory and payer stakeholders

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics with 8+ years pharma/biotech experience, or M.S. with 12+ years
• Solid knowledge of oncology statistical methods including survival analysis and causal inference
• Hands-on experience analyzing exploratory oncology trial data independently
• Understanding of regulatory requirements for biostatistical activities and clinical trials
• Proficiency in SAS and/or R programming
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills
