Field Representatives interview respondents to collect survey or census data as required for current surveys, one-time surveys, and special censuses. Field Representatives are based out of their homes and are reimbursed for work travel mileage. Conducts interviews primarily in person (door to door) and when requested may conduct phone interviews to collect survey or census data as required within an assigned geographic area.\ Communicates with respondents, supervisors, and other persons as appropriate.\ Understands survey materials in order to explain the purpose of surveys, ask questions as worded on the questionnaire or survey instrument, and enters accurate and complete information into a laptop computer or onto survey forms.\ Maintains personal payroll records that reflect hours worked, miles driven, and reimbursements for travel and communications claimed.\ Completes an attends training as necessary in-person or online.\ Requirements\ Help\ Conditions of employment You must be 18 years old.\ You must be a US Citizen.\ You must have good hearing and the ability to read small print found on surveys. You must be in good physical condition to drive, climb stairs, and walk for extended periods.\ You will occasionally be required to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.\ You must be willing to work days, evenings, and weekends.\ You must be willing to work a varying number of hours per week.\ You must be willing to occasionally travel overnight for training and work assignments.\ You must have access to a vehicle (or public transportation) so that you can complete work throughout the assigned geographic area.\ You must establish and maintain a safe work environment in your residence.\ You must be willing to use all methods of communication (face to face, phone call, emails, letter, etc.).\ You must have access to a landline or mobile phone.\ You must have an internet connection at your residence. If internet is not available in your area, must be able to connect to a cellular network.\
