Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily operations and team management at a retail pharmacy location in Ogdensburg, NY. This contract position offers a chance to provide high-quality patient care while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and achieving financial goals.

Location:

• Ogdensburg, NY

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register with the state board of pharmacy as the supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge.
• Maintain pharmacy compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies.
• Manage pharmacy operations including budget, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and third-party administration to optimize financial performance.
• Lead pharmacy staff through guidance, training, and performance management.
• Participate in business development within the store and local community.
• Deliver patient-centered services such as immunizations, MTM, and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication usage, interactions, and side effects.
• Ensure continuous quality improvement focused on patient safety.
• Maintain organized and clean pharmacy facilities in line with legal and company standards.
• Complete required continuing education programs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in New York State.
• Immunization certification with comfort administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager preferred.
