Location: Newark, DE Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week Term: 5-month assignment between Aug-Dec 2026 Responsibilities Working with experienced R&D professionals on process technology developmental projects Participating in process safety management activities and reviews Lab work including the design, construction, operation, and optimization of lab-scale unit operations including reactors, filters, ovens, mixers, pumps, etc. Supporting multiple projects with data analysis, data recordkeeping, and data sharing with team members. Contributing to team meetings and conference calls Safe handling of chemicals and safe operation of chemical processes Qualifications Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above at time of assignment Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering or similar fields Preferred 3.0 GPA or above Previous experience (industrial or academic) with the following chemical processes: reaction engineering, thermodynamics, titration, filtration, and distillation.
