Pay Rate: $50 - $75/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accountant II to support General Ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.

• Minimum 2–6 years of accounting experience.

• Strong General Ledger accounting experience.

• Experience preparing and posting accounting journal entries.

• Experience with complex account and subsystem reconciliations.

• Experience with variance analysis.

• Strong analytical skills and financial accounting knowledge.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently within established accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support system accounting activities in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures.

• Perform General Ledger month-end close activities.

• Prepare complex account analyses and reconciliations.

• Perform subsystem reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

• Prepare and post accurate accounting journal entries.

• Conduct variance analysis and identify significant fluctuations or unusual activity.

• Review financial information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards.

• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Recommend changes to accounting systems, processes, and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Maintain accurate accounting documentation and supporting records.

• Collaborate with internal departments and accounting teams to resolve financial issues.

• Support financial reporting and other accounting activities as assigned.
