Data Consultant - Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Consultant for a Hybrid position (3 days onsite required per week) with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX and Richmond, VA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role requires a self-directed, results-driven leader to manage multiple concurrent priorities, balancing strategic and tactical execution. The consultant will drive end-to-end program execution across complex data governance, regulatory, and risk management initiatives, from strategic planning and implementation through operational reporting and sustained business adoption. Responsibilities: Drive end-to-end program execution across complex data governance, regulatory, and risk management initiatives Lead annual AML and Sanctions attestation processes for applicable transaction flows Own issue management and remediation activities across stakeholder testing, internal quality control, lineage validation, and control attestation efforts Develop and maintain robust process documentation, governance artifacts, and operating procedures Capture and curate complex data lineage, controls metadata, and application hierarchy information Leverage enterprise data management tools and functional platforms to support testing execution and stakeholder inquiries Ensure deliverables are aligned with Enterprise Data Management policies, standards, and control frameworks Provide responsive support for urgent stakeholder testing matters while proactively identifying emerging risks Collaborate cross-functionally with business, technology, risk, and compliance partners Requirements: 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: data analysis, business analysis, project management, data management and governance Understanding of Data Management fundamentals, including metadata, data quality, and data governance Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to collect, organize, analyze, document, and publish information Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills Able to influence, lead, and communicate effectively across technology peers, business units, managers, and senior leadership Adept at handling multiple tasks and adapting to daily changing requirements Experience with tools such as: COLLIBRA, Enterprise Data Repository, BTConverge, AppHQ Bachelor's degree preferred Strong Microsoft Office skills Desired skills: Knowledge of Global Banking and/or Markets business and technology environment Knowledge of Enterprise Data Management Policy & Standard requirements Familiar with SOX regulations and reporting requirements Understanding of Enterprise Independent Testing delivery process and methodologies Familiar with the Global Financial Crimes Compliance line of business Pay range: $37.82 - $45.82 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
