Our client in Mountain View is seeking a Level 1 Help Desk Technician to provide day-to-day technical support for employees in a fast-paced research environment. This role will serve as a first point of contact for IT issues and help ensure employees have the technology and support they need.
Responsibilities
- Provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, and access issues
- Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, peripherals, and basic network connectivity
- Support user accounts, password resets, email, and collaboration tools
- Set up and configure equipment for new employees
- Track and document support requests and escalate complex issues as needed
Qualifications
- 1+ year of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or related IT experience
- Working knowledge of Windows and/or macOS
- Familiarity with user account management and basic networking
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Excellent communication and ability to work with both technical and non-technical users
