Warehouse Associate

Location: Hialeah, FL 33013
Job Type: Temporary (2–3 Months)
Pay: $16.86 per hour
Schedule: Rotating 12-Hour Shifts (Days & Nights)

Shift Schedule

Employees will work rotating 12-hour shifts based on production needs:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Start Date: Approximately 2 weeks from the offer date.

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Utility/Warehouse Associates to support warehouse and shipping operations in a manufacturing environment. This position plays an important role in ensuring materials and finished products are received, stored, organized, and shipped safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, follows safety procedures, and is comfortable performing physically demanding work.

Essential Responsibilities

As a General Utility Associate, your responsibilities will include:

· Load, unload, and hand-stack materials and finished products safely.

· Build and organize pallets for shipping and receiving operations.

· Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping documents.

· Prepare shipments by labeling, wrapping, and securing products.

· Stage, organize, move, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.

· Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records.

· Perform inventory transactions and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.

· Inspect incoming materials and finished products for damage or quality concerns.

· Report damaged materials or production issues to the appropriate supervisor.

· Support Robot Operators by identifying production or quality issues before operations begin.

· Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas throughout the warehouse and production floor.

· Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping, removing scrap materials, cleaning equipment, and maintaining warehouse organization.

· Communicate effectively with warehouse, logistics, and production teams.

· Follow all company safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

· Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

· Previous warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or shipping/receiving experience is preferred.

· Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

· Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures is preferred.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.

· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.

· Must be comfortable standing, bending, walking, and performing repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.

· Must be able to work in hot, humid, dusty, and noisy manufacturing environments.
