Supervisor, Pathology Admin Support Team

These roles focus on managing and overseeing the operations of UVA's healthcare organization and systems. Ensuring that healthcare facilities and services operate efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with regulations. Work on the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of healthcare management to improve patient care, optimize resource use, and drive overall organizational success. These roles focus on managing and optimizing the day-to-day functions and logistics of UVA's healthcare organization to ensure efficient, effective, and patient-centered care. These roles are integral to maintaining the operational integrity of healthcare facilities and systems, coordinating resources, ensuring smooth operations between departments within the health system. Represents people leaders (hire/fire authority) with majority of time spent overseeing their area of responsibility. Achieve goals through direct and/or indirect reports. Supervises support level employees. Sets goals and objectives for other employees within the Job Area. Develops solutions to a variety of routine problems, and escalates more complex issues to higher-level managers. Ensures policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports. Minimum Requirements Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent Required, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Experience: 3 years or relevant supervisory experience required. Licensure: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods and repetitive motion: computer keyboard. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. The pay range for this role is $25.22 - $50.44 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
