Order Accuracy: Transmit orders to the kitchen accurately and promptly, ensuring that food is prepared to guest specifications. Verify orders before serving. Food Presentation: Plate and serve food attractively, following established presentation standards. Ensure that each dish meets quality and portion control standards. Beverage Service: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including soft drinks, coffee, and tea, ensuring consistent quality. Cash Handling: Handle cash and operate the cash register accurately, processing payments and providing correct change. Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including bussing tables, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring that all dining supplies are stocked. Guest Assistance: Address guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations. Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about menu items, daily specials, and any allergen information to assist guests in making informed choices. Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen and cashier team members to ensure efficient and smooth service during busy periods. What You’ll Need Previous experience as a server in a quick‑service or fast‑casual restaurant is preferred but not required. Exceptional Guest Service and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and remain calm under pressure. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining food quality and safety standards. Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of cash handling procedures and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems is a plus. Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods. Lifting and carrying trays and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Bending, stooping, and reaching.
