Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Unit (CCU) will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and managing critical conditions. This position requires a high level of expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with serious illnesses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Critical Care Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ICU/CCU.
• At least 2 travel assignments completed.
• Active RN license in Tennessee.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, HWC, NIH.
• Experience with Meditech EHR system.
