Role Description The Community Engagement Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Westerville, OH. This position is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, local partners, and community stakeholders to support Outreach Promos’ Brandstores and branded merch programs. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating outreach initiatives, responding to client and community inquiries, organizing engagement campaigns or events, and gathering feedback to improve services. The role involves managing online and in-person community interactions, supporting customer onboarding and retention efforts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and a positive experience. The Community Engagement Specialist will also track engagement metrics, prepare reports, and contribute ideas to strengthen community presence and brand loyalty. Hours 39 hours per week (can be adjusted depending on candidate) (Summer 4 day workweek, 36 hours/week) Compensation Salary based on experience and qualifications (Range of $50 – 80K) Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401(k) Paid Time-Off Mileage and Expense Reimbursement Responsibilities include: Outreach Promos (Community Engagement) a.Business Development - Building trust and long-term relationships that lead to new prospects; Generating new leads and conducting initial discovery on potential opportunities b.Account Management & Client Servicing – Working in collaboration with the Client Success Team to oversee client accounts, onboard new clients, and ensure a high-level of service c.Brand Engagement – Working in the community and with the marketing team to uplift the Outreach Promos brand and solutions in the marketplace Small Biz Cares (Nonprofit Engagement) d.Working in the community to build relationships and generate engagement in Small Biz Cares e.Assisting the SBC team with impact programs Other Projects & Support f.Assist the in-office Operations team with surge projects g.Assist the CEO with special projects h.Lead the management/oversight of prospecting CRM and lead follow-up i.Assist CEO with collaborations involving outsourced lead gen company Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities to connect effectively with clients, partners, and community members. Demonstrated experience in community engagement and community management, ideally in a marketing, agency, or branded merchandise environment. Excellent communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for client updates, community outreach, and internal collaboration. Customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, problem-solving, and creating positive experiences for diverse stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, with solid organizational and time-management skills. Comfort with digital platforms and basic proficiency in tools used for online communities, email communication, and project coordination. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (sales, design, fulfillment, and operations).
