The Asian American Arts Alliance (A4) is a New York City–based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Asian American artists and cultural organizations through resource sharing, promotion, advocacy, and community building. A4 works across artistic disciplines to increase representation, equity, and professional opportunities for Asian American artists and strengthen the broader cultural ecosystem. Title & Description The Anjeli Jana Memorial Internship is a paid, part-time arts administration internship for a qualified college or university student during the Fall 2026–Spring 2027 academic year. The intern will work alongside A4 staff to support public programs, constituent communications, artist outreach, research, data tracking, volunteer coordination, and other organizational activities. The position offers hands‑on exposure to the operations of a long‑standing artist‑support nonprofit and is particularly suited to students interested in arts administration, cultural programming, communications, community engagement, and nonprofit arts organizations. Depending on the intern’s interests and organizational needs, responsibilities may also include fundraising initiatives and operational support. The role requires strong communication, organization, writing, prioritization, and independent working skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Canva, and CRM systems such as Neon is expected; Adobe Creative Suite experience is an advantage.
