Interim Treasury Manager

A biotech client of ours in Chicago, IL is seeking an Interim Treasury Manager to join their team (Hybrid role: 4 days in office). Corporate Treasury role for 2 - 3 months.

GENERAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Manage and improve visibility into the company’s bank account structure, including approximately 50bank accounts Assess existing accounts and identify opportunities to consolidate, streamline, or close unnecessary accounts. Manage the opening, maintenance, and closure of bank accounts, ensuring appropriate documentation, approvals, signatories, and regulatory requirements are completed. Partner with Treasury, Accounting, Legal, Tax, banking partners, and business stakeholders to transition accounts toward centralized Treasury control. Establish stronger processes, controls, and documentation around bank account management. Drive process improvement initiatives and implement account-level changes as needed. Provide structure and coordination around projects, including timelines, stakeholders, action items, Finance or Accounting Degree Foreign exchange / banking experience Banking relationship management and bank reconciliations Need to understand operations of treasury and banking Strong communications and interpersonal skills Proven track record of learning and adapting quickly to treasury system If you, or someone you know, is interested please apply today!
