Role Overview The Regional Medical Director, Southeast, leads medical and scientific activities for ViiV products across the Southeast U.S. and neighboring regions. This role shapes educational campaigns, provides clinical expertise to commercialization teams, and drives evidence generation to support strategic decisions. Responsibilities Recognize as an expert in HIV treatment and prevention Exhibit exceptional communication, leadership, influencing, and networking skills Maintain knowledge of relevant legal requirements and business processes Demonstrate high commercial awareness and involvement Commit to developing colleagues Plan, develop, and deliver educational campaigns and materials for the HIV medical team Analyze and review ViiV products, competitive products, and therapy areas, and make strategic recommendations Develop therapy area reviews, product monographs, slide sets, and training packages Collaborate with market access to prepare tailored responses to payer and access issues Ensure the medical information department and field medical group are up-to-date on new products and support medical training Prepare and deliver presentations for sales force training and briefing sessions Lead Key Evidence Generation to identify data needs, plan clinical trials, and exploit trial results for commercial benefit Basic Qualifications Physician with 7+ years of clinical experience Experience treating HIV and in prevention of HIV Availability for 50%+ travel Preferred Qualifications Ability to assimilate, interpret, and disseminate scientific data about ViiV products and competitors, and communicate this information to enhance strategic and promotional activities Rapid acquisition of extensive knowledge of ViiV products, competitor products, and associated disease areas in primary responsibility Skill in facilitating internal relationships within the North American region and gaining credibility of senior managers and external influencers Compensation and Benefits The U.S. annual base salary for this position ranges from $202,500 to $337,500. The range reflects factors including work location, skills, experience, education level, and market rate. The role offers an annual bonus, eligibility for share‑based long‑term incentive programs, and a comprehensive benefits package.
