Supervisor

This Field Supervisor position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating outside plant (OSP) installations, including managing in‑house crews and subcontractors for various construction tasks such as trenching, boring, cable pulling, lashing, splicing, and testing. The role involves extensive coordination with clients on schedules, invoicing, and as‑builts, as well as interfacing with developers, city inspectors, property owners, and the general public. Key responsibilities also include pre‑walking jobs for funding and job code validation, identifying and resolving construction issues, and maintaining quality compliance. What you’ll do Coordinate and supervise outside installations. Directly supervise in‑house construction crews and subcontractors to perform underground trenching, directional boring, fiber optic and coax cable pulling, aerial fiber and coax lashing, splicing, and testing. Coordinate with clients on schedules, invoicing, as‑builts, billing, as‑built maps, and project management software. Coordinate with developers, city inspectors, property owners, and the general public. Embrace the company's safety program. Pre‑walk jobs to validate funding and job‑code usage. Identify construction issues not accounted for and present an action plan to resolve them. Maintain quality compliance throughout the build process. What you’ll need Organized, detail‑oriented, self‑starter committed to supervising OSP installations, thriving in time‑critical environments. High‑school diploma or GED. 5 years of relevant construction supervision and coordination experience in the CATV industry. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information and supervise construction personnel. Proficiency with email and computer use.
