He graduated from UNIVERSITY OF SARAJEVO / MEDICAL FACULTY. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is an integral part of the delivery of health care and provides for primary care in many ambulatory settings through the CHS Physician Enterprise. The APP provides patient care under the supervision of a qualified physician and is credentialed through the Medical Staff process.Duties/ResponsibilitiesParticipates in and provides clinical care to patients through interview and observation, evaluation and assessment, intervention, planning and written documentation during their visit at the Infusion Center.Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations.Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients.Performs daily patient rounds.Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests.Interprets laboratory and test results.Confers with attending physicians, residents, nursing staff, and/or other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.RequirementsPA - Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, minimum Bachelor's degree requiredNP - Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, current RN license and current AANP or ANCC certificationExperienceMinimum of two years of experience as an APP in a physician practice or ambulatory environment preferred.
