Role Description The Medical Staff Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for coordinating the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for medical staff, including verifying qualifications, licenses, certifications, and references. The coordinator maintains accurate provider records, tracks due dates, and prepares documents for medical staff committees and accreditation surveys. Daily tasks include managing applications, responding to inquiries from providers and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, medical staff bylaws, and regulatory standards. The role also involves supporting medical staff meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and providing administrative assistance to medical staff leadership. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Medical Staff Credentialing and general Credentialing processes. Candidates should possess skills in Medical Terminology and a strong understanding of clinical documentation. Candidates should possess skills related to Accreditation standards and regulatory compliance. Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance skills, including organizing records, scheduling, and document preparation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record management. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clinicians and staff. Proficiency with office software and credentialing or provider management systems.
